Dog Grooming

Do you want your dog to have a bath or hair cut but don’t want the aching back or messy clean up? Make an appointment to drop your dog off with us and we would love to do it for you! We will even include a nail trim and ear cleaning!

Dog baths and grooming are available by appointment only.  Please contact us to schedule your appointment. We can combine these services with a day of daycare (for dogs) or during their stay with us.

*Free boarding baths can be forfeited if you alter your scheduled pick up time. We will make every effort to alter the bathing schedule if you contact us prior to inform us of the change, but we cannot guarantee we will be able to accommodate the change. You may also be charged for the free bath if you alter your scheduled pick up time and are no longer eligible for the free bath, and we have already bathed your dog. Also if your dog is too difficult to bathe or too large for our tub, we will not be able to offer your dog a free bath.

Paperwork Requirements

Prior to your first visit to Camp Canine, the Pet Profile should be completed. You can download this document and fill it out now to save time when you arrive with your dog/cat.

Written proof of the Rabies vaccines is also required.

Policies

We reserve the right to refuse to bathe/groom a dog/cat if it shows signs of aggression and/or fear. We also can only bathe/groom dogs that are able to fit into our tubs.

Bath Package

Your dog's bath starts with a brief relaxing rub down, ear cleaning and toenail trimming. Then they are bathed with a gentle shampoo in warm water and finally, hand brushed and dried. Once dried, a spray of fresh smelling, light floral pet-approved cologne will be applied. Your dog’s bath includes a complementary bandana!

Groomers Bio

Allison
She has an endless love for animals. She understands that they are part of your family and takes the time to earn their trust while grooming them.
She graduated from the Connecticut School of Dog Grooming in 2004. She successfully completed the AKC Safety in the Salon course and passed the associated test. She is now a S.A.F.E certified groomer.

Reva
Her passison is grooming!  She loves being able to work with and meet all kinds of pets!  Making them look great while keeping them comfortable is her mission.  She has been grooming since 2020 and working with pets since 2015.  She is also able to groom cats! 

Skunk Bath Recipe

1 quart of 3% hydrogen peroxide
1/4 cup of baking soda
2 tbspn liquid dish detergent (for dishes NOT dishwasher)

Mix the ingredients in a large bowl or bucket since the solution will bubble and boil. Chemically, this is oxygen generator mix and the oxygen is what neutralizes the skunk chemical. Wear gloves to protect your hands. Start behind your pet's head and rub into the coat. Use a sponge to carefully apply the solution around the face. Do NOT get into eyes or ears. Rinse well, and repeat if necessary. Do NOT keep any left over solution.
