Training

Allie has always had an interest in the dog world. She attended Wamogo Regional High School specifically studying in their Animal Science Program. She went on to get her college degree in Psychology. Currently she works at an elementary school in their Reading Intervention Program. She specifically works with students from K through 5 who need extra support & help with their reading skills, sounding out letters/words and reading comprehension.

While Allie was growing up she was always surrounded by animals. Her family had multiple animals including a dog, multiple cats, a hamster and a pet rat. Currently she has an 8 year old tabby cat named Zip! Allie worked on a therapeutic horse farm along with working as a beekeeper & had chickens to take care of! She volunteered for Habitat for Humanity along with other organizations.

Allie joined our team in 2022. She provides support in multiple roles: daycare and kennel attendant as well as bathing dogs.

Cassie owns 3 dogs - Cosmo (elkhound x), Snoopy (dachshund) & Stella (golden). She also owns a betta fish named Merlot & a cat named Edgar.

Cassie has been working in the dog/animal world since 2015. She started off working at a dog daycare in Danbury eventually becoming a Shift Lead then a Daycare Supervisor.

She joined our team 2021. She is currently the Daycare Manager but also fills in for the Front and Kennel Managers when needed. Cassie runs the Intro to Playgroups Program on Monday nights. She has also taught our basic training classes as well as worked with dogs one on one in our daycare program.

Cassie helps out with animal rescues whenever she can and loves to do dog sitting & walking in her spare time. She has 2 college degrees and wants to continue her education in animal behaviors. She is currently focusing on her dog education as opportunities arise; most recently she attended the Dog Daycare & Boarding Expo in PA.

Cassie has created unbreakable bonds with our dogs as well as with our clients. She is a critical part of the Camp Canine team!

Chantelle has spent her life surrounded by animals and has turned that lifelong passion into a rewarding career working with them every day. Growing up, she cared for a wide variety of animals—from household pets like cats and dogs to horses and livestock. Living among “fur, feathers, and four paws” quickly sparked her curiosity about animal behavior and inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to their care and well-being. Currently she has 2 German shepherds and cattle dog, along with 2 cats and a couple reptiles.

In 2014, Chantelle joined the Camp Canine family, where she began working with dogs in daycare. Over time, she expanded her knowledge and skills, taking on greater responsibilities and building strong relationships with both dogs and their owners. During this time, she also enjoyed private pet sitting and even participated in Dock Dogs diving events with her sister’s dog.

Chantelle began formally training dogs in 2017 and has since gained experience working in both group classes and one-on-one private training sessions. Helping dogs and their owners communicate and succeed together is something she finds incredibly rewarding.

In addition to her training work, Chantelle applies her experience daily in her role as a Veterinary Technician in an emergency veterinary hospital, where her calm handling and training knowledge are invaluable.

Chantelle leaves a lasting impression on everyone she works with and quickly wins over the hearts—and tail wags—of every dog she meets. We are proud to have her as part of our team.
